Christian is a winemaker who has worked passionately in the cellar for years. Meanwhile, Sebastian, a marketing professional, seeks out stories that get under your skin. They both share a passion for doing things differently. So, initially, the question was not how to sell more wine, but how to capture shared moments more effectively.

Crafted by sun and soil

TONWERK is based in Deutschkreutz, Burgenland, in the far east of Austria. It is a beautiful place where the wind from the Pannonian Plain sweeps over rolling hills, and where Blaufränkisch is not just a grape variety but a way of life. The best white and red wines have been produced here for generations, and the finest Hungarian goulash can be found just a few metres away.

TONWERK is more than that, yet every bottle bears traces of its origin — not an attitude, but a character.

For people and memories

The labels leave plenty of room for personal touches, and TONWERK bottles become part of the story. They are personalised, designed and presented as gifts. Each one becomes an archive of shared moments, storing what remains when all the glasses have been emptied. Ultimately, it's not the wine that matters, but the people who enjoy it together.
